These quick and easy Babybel cheese monsters are perfect for adding a little extra fun to lunch boxes, snacks or Halloween party food for kids!
Today I have a super simple fun food idea to share with you - easy Babybel cheese monsters. This is my slightly easier, super simple take on these cute cheese monsters that I spotted over on the Danya Banya blog several years ago. I've been making them myself for lunch boxes and snacks for the kids ever since, and they always go down well!
We have a while to go until... (I'll whisper it!) Halloween, but if you do celebrate it, these easy cheese monsters would be perfect for healthy Halloween party food or popping into fun Halloween themed lunch boxes in October. Equally, monsters can be enjoyed at other times of the year too so they're perfect for kids party food all the year around!
Easy Babybel Cheese Monsters
Ingredients (makes 12):
- 12 mini Babybel cheeses
- handful googly eyes
Method:
Unwrap all the cheeses.
Pull off the central tab strips without removing the rest of the wax.
Gently pull the wax apart a little to create wider open 'mouths' for your cheese monsters.
Push googly eyes into the wax. They should stay put by themselves, but you can use a glue stick to stick them more firmly in place if needed.
Repeat until you have as many cheese monsters as you need.
Enjoy!
