These gorgeous homemade giant white chocolate jazzies are a really fun treat to make with the kids and the perfect recipe for easy edible gifts!
If you're looking for quick and easy recipes to make with the kids, they don't get much easier than these giant white chocolate jazzies. Also known as snowies, these yummy treats are so easy to make and always a hit with everyone, big and small!
We love making these giant chocolate jazzies to give as gifts - they look really pretty all on their own so all you need to do is pop them into a clear cellophane bag and tie it up with a ribbon for a really lovely edible gift.
I used a rainbow sprinkle mix from Baking Time Club for my jazzies, but any sprinkles would work. If you're planning a themed party or even a wedding, why not choose sprinkles to match the theme or colour scheme and give these out as favours!
Giant White Chocolate Jazzies
Ingredients:
- 200g good quality white chocolate
- 1 pack of sprinkles
Method:
Lay out 12 silicone cups onto a small baking tray or plate.
Break up the white chocolate and pop it in a microwave safe bowl. Melt the chocolate by cooking at 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between. White chocolate melts more quickly than other types of chocolate, so take care not to burn it!
Once melted and lump free, drop a spoonful of melted white chocolate into each of the silicone cups. Don't worry if you drip chocolate down the sides - any drips will easily snap off once the chocolate is set.
Once all the white chocolate has been used up, carefully tap the tray or plate with the silicone cups on onto your work surface to get rid of any air bubbles and to smooth out the layer of chocolate in each cup.
Scatter a generous layer of sprinkles on top of the chocolate in each cup.
Place the tray or plate into the fridge to set for half an hour or so. It helps if the chocolate is really cold for the next step.
Pop the jazzies out of each of the silicone cups.
If you’re giving them as gifts, wrap them up. They'd look really lovely in little cupcake boxes or cellophane bags tied with a pretty ribbon!
Store the finished jazzies in the fridge or somewhere fairly cool.
Enjoy!
