Happy British Sandwich Week! My brother and his family live near London, but they neglected to tell me about this little British celebration! 🙂 Now I have so MANY perfect ways to celebrate! Sandwiches will never be boring again! Thanks bunches for including us!

Now that is a list of good sarnies! Many of my personal favourites are already on there but I do also enjoy a cheese and celery spread, it's so easy to make. Pop a few sticks of celery, some mayo and grated cheese into the food processor and blitz. A delicious and easy sandwich filling in just a few minutes. #TheList
Katy (What Katy Said) says
I am going to pin this for later as I am totally rubbish at sandwiches. It is all in the prep isn't it? I always forget to buy half the things so end up with plain old ham! Fab list, I have my eye on quite a few! #TheList

Hi
In a toastie I put avocado, sliced tomato (take out some of the pips) and a drop of balsalmic vinegar drizzled on top in white bread. If it were an ordinary sandwich, some iceburg lettuce popped on as well, served in granary bread makes a wonderful vegan treat.
NB Every time I do not use a spoon to get a small amount of balsamic vinegar out to sprinkle it, I accidently release a big splodge onto the sandwich. Every time.
Michelle Summers says
I love tuna avocado and watercress on granary healthy and delicious! Love all your suggestions as well loads to try.
Anthea Hay says
As long as meats are not processed and use low GI / GL bread then thumbs up.

German salami, mature cheddar and BBQ sauce for me, please. Or chicken, garlic mayo and honey.

If someone hasn't already mentioned it, the Reuben! It consists of roast beef (can use deli pre-cooked), sauerkraut mixed with thousand island dressing, placed on pumpernickel bread; toasted bread optional.
Ash says
Nice list. One of my personal all-time favourites is peanut butter and pickle, but it's not the most popular combo!
Grace Hall says
That's an interesting one, worth a try at least!
The Sandman says
I cannot believe you left out peanut butter and marmite

No blackpudding sarnie or bacon and banana or lamb and mintjelly
