Today I'm sharing a delicious healthy green smoothie recipe for kids, which I named Swamp Monster smoothie, in an attempt to make it seem extra exciting so that my boys would be up for trying it! I've been meaning to try green smoothies for a long time, and as this was my first attempt I wasn't sure how it would taste or how it would be received, but I needn't have worried - the combination of healthy ingredients that I chose for this smoothie turned out to be delicious and everyone asked for more.
This recipe is vegan and dairy free, and would be a great healthy drink idea for breakfast on Halloween morning or for Halloween parties too - you could even make a game of it and ask the kids to guess the ingredients!

Cor, that is one very green smoothie - reminds me of the Incredible Hulk 😉 Smoothies are just brilliant for getting us all to eat more healthy stuff.

He he, it was VERY green, but thankfully tasted better than I thought it would! I might well have to call it a Hulk smoothie next time!
