Continuing on with our food alphabet of alphabet themed bento lunches, today’s lunch celebrates the letter C! This was another easy lunch to make, as there were several words beginning with C that instantly sprang to mind. We packed this lunch in our TUMTUM lunch box, because the Cat on the front worked nicely with the theme.
In this lunch Small Child had a wholewheat pitta bread, cut into a Cat using the CuteZcute Animal Friends cutter. I highlighted the features of the cat with red and black edible marker pens to make them stand out more. On the side he had a Car egg, shaped using an egg mould, Carrots, decorated with leaf food picks, grapes, skewered on Car bento picks, a mini Babybel Cheese, with a C cut from the wax to decorate, a mini sauce Container decorated with a Clover leaf, filled with houmous for spreading on the pitta breads, and some dried Cranberries, decorated with C alphabet food picks and a Cat bento pick. I finished the lunch off with the special treat of a little Chocolate Coin.
I also added a reusable food pouch filled with organic vanilla yoghurt to his lunch bag (not shown). Small Child ate most of this lunch, eating everything but a handful of the Cranberries. When I looked at the lunch photo later I realised that I forgot to use Cucumber, how obvious was that?! Can you think of any other foods or objects beginning with C that I missed?

Thank you! It's those leaf picks that make them - I love them! I do forsee a real struggle with some of the letters ahead as I work my way through!
