These super simple marshmallow ghosts have just 3 ingredients and are perfect for fun and easy Halloween party food for kids!
Fun Halloween recipes don't come much easier than these marshmallow ghosts! All you need are some marshmallows, white chocolate and edible candy eyeballs to create this fun spooky treat!
These ghost marshmallows make a great edible craft activity, and you can add the finished ghosts to Halloween desserts, as cupcake or Halloween cake toppers or serve them up just as they are for a fun Halloween treat.
They're so quick and easy that they're perfect for making in bulk for cute Halloween party food or Halloween favours too!
Easy Marshmallow Ghosts
Ingredients (makes 20):
- 20 marshmallows
- 100g white chocolate
- 40 edible candy eyes
Method:
Break up the white chocolate and place it in a microwave safe bowl.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each one to ensure it melts evenly. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate, heat only until just melted and smooth.
Dip the backs of two candy eyes in the melted chocolate, then stick them to the side of a marshmallow.
Lay the marshmallow on its side on a plate and repeat with the remaining marshmallows and candy eyes.
Pop the plate of marshmallow ghosts in the fridge for 10 minutes to set the chocolate.
Pop the ghosts back the right way up and place on a plate or platter to serve.
