Another from my healthy food alphabet of alphabet bento lunches today, we've managed a week of them so far (school week, 5 days), which means that we're up to the letter E. Hopefully we'll manage the whole alphabet - looking ahead I definitely foresee trouble with the last few letters, but I'm sure we'll think of something! Today's letter was quite tricky, I could only thing of one thing (Egg) initially, but after rifling through my bento pick collection I found a few more bits and pieces - thank goodness for my favourite Eye picks!
In this lunch Small Child had English Muffin Pizzas (to make, take an English muffin, split it in half then spread with tomato puree and top with grated cheddar cheese before popping under the grill for a couple of minutes), topped with red pepper E cut-outs and decorated with Eye picks, a hard boiled Egg, also sporting Eye picks, raw carrot sticks, decorated with E alphabet picks, grapes and strawberries, decorated with Elephant picks (from this set and this set) and finished off with an Emerald pick.
I also added a reusable food pouch filled with organic natural yoghurt to his lunch bag (not shown). Considering that I had no ideas when I woke up on the morning that I made this lunch, I was pleased with the outcome! Small Child was happy too, he always loves pizza for lunch!

I love how everything's got eyes! I don't like to eat anything that can look at me but I think I might make an exception for that lunch 🙂 x
