New Lunch Box - Sistema Salad to Go

I recently tried out a new lunch box that was given to me (someone knows me and my lunchbox hoarding tendencies very well!); the Sistema Salad to Go Lunchbox.  This box was really great and a perfect size for Small Child's lunches, with room to spare for extra food if needed.  Small Child was particularly excited that it came with a collapsible plastic knife and fork set, although we didn't need it for this lunch.   The lunchbox has a removable top tray including a pot for salad dressing, and plenty of room underneath for a salad, or in our case a sandwich.

In this lunch Small Child had a ham and lettuce sandwich, with a star cut from the top slice of bread (using a cute cutter set that includes an integrated face cutter).  On the top tray I put a pot of organic houmous, carrot and cucumber sticks to dip in it, and some blueberries, red grapes and green grapes for pudding.  I added a couple of cute star picks to the fruit to match the sandwich.

For his after school snack, Small Child had a star shaped silicone cup with a handful of oddities (mini cheese crackers), some orange slices decorated with another star pick and a toffee chocolate for a treat.

I asked Small Child if he enjoyed this lunch, he replied that he tried a grape dipped in houmous and it 'wasn't very nice', so he saved the rest of the houmous for the carrots and cucumber.  He's certainly open to experimenting with his food!
