    Halloween Lunch Blog Hop

I've been holding off on the Halloween themed lunches for as long as I can this year, because last year I got a bit fed up of Halloween by the time it arrived!  Today however I'm taking part in the Bento Bloggers & Friends 'Frightful Fall Blog Hop', so the Halloween lunch supplies have come out to play at last!  At the end of this post you’ll find a button to click which will take you to the next blog in the ‘hop’ where hopefully you will find another creative bento lunch celebrating the autumn season or Halloween.

In this lunch Small Child had pretzel sticks, ham sandwiches (cut into bat shapes and topped with 'eyes' cut from red pepper), raw organic carrot and red pepper sticks, decorated with ghost picks and a scary plastic spider.  On the side he had an apple, with a wedge removed so that I could add plastic vampire fangs, and frozen yoghurt fangs. The frozen yoghurt was a mixture of organic natural and blueberry yoghurt which I shaped using a silicone mould - I froze the 'teeth' bit first, then added the 'gums' in with blueberry yoghurt a little later.

Eats Amazing - Halloween Themed Bento Lunch with Bat SandwichesSmall Child was delighted with his Halloween Lunch, I might even get a few Halloween decorations out later for him too!

Now comes the fun part! This post is part of a blog hop; which means that a whole load of bento bloggers have got together to showcase their talents in celebration of Autumn and Halloween.  Click on the button below to see what Sarah from Blame it on the bento has got in store for you!
