Leftover Pasta & Hearts For Lunch

Valentines day is fast approaching, so hearts seem to be creeping into some of my lunches recently!

In this lunch, Small Child had some leftovers from dinner the night before (pasta with roasted vegetables), some thinly sliced raw red pepper in a heart shaped silicone cup with a heart pick, and some raw carrot disks with heart cut-outs.  I sprinkled the mini carrot hearts from the middle of the disks over the pasta.

For dessert he had a small apple, cored & halved with heart cut-outs, another silicone heart filled with fruit juice hearts (at Small Child’s request) and topped with another heart pick, and some mini organic oat biscuits.

He also had a frozen organic strawberry yoghurt tube (not shown).  I hope Small Child was feeling the love when he ate this lunch!
