Don’t Eat Me! Bagel Lunch

As Small Child seems to like bagels so much, I’ve been thinking of fun ways to use them recently.  I decided to add a face to this one, but the poor thing looked terrified! Luckily Small Child thought it was funny, so happily ate him!

In this lunchbox, Small Child had a plain bagel, split and filled with chicken, and decorated with cheese eyes and some lettuce hair. On the side he had some smiley face cucumber slices (an attempt to balance out the scared bagel!), some carrot flowers and some blueberries.  I also added a couple of cute little picks to decorate.

I was in a bit of a rush that morning, so threw a few bits into his lunch bag for dessert.  Just proving I’m only human! He had a banana, some dried fruit with some mini chocolate chips in a mini car shaped snack box and a frozen organic yoghurt tube.

Everything was eaten, so Small Child was obviously quite happy with this lunch!
