Carrot Houmous & Salad Wraps

One of my favourite ways to use up homemade houmous is in a wrap, with lots of lovely veggies.  I can even sneak a bit of lettuce in there, and Small Child eats it without noticing it (always a bonus!).

In this lunchbox Small Child had a tortilla wrap, filled with carrot houmous, shredded lettuce, cucumber sticks and strips of raw yellow pepper.  I sliced the wrap into four pieces, then added some disks of raw carrot in a bear shaped silicone cup, and decorated the wrap pieces with carrot stars.

For dessert, he had frozen yoghurt flowers with a few sprinkles frozen into the mould (a tutorial for frozen yoghurt shapes can be found here), a clementine decorated with a little hen pick, some banana ‘crisps’ (dried banana pieces) and a little marshmallow tree.

Small Child said he particularly enjoyed these wraps because ‘Daddy had the same for his lunch’ (minus the pretty flowers)!
