Bear Themed Couscous Lunch

Today, Small Child had another ‘leftovers’ lunch in the form of a roasted vegetable couscous salad.  I decided to make it a little more fun by giving the whole lunch a bear theme.

In his lunchbox Small Child had leftover harissa couscous salad (couscous, roasted aubergine, courgette, peppers, onions, carrot & goats cheese) decorated with raw carrot bears.  On the side he had some shredded roast chicken in bear-shaped silicone cups with a little bear pick, plus some more sliced raw carrot.

For dessert he had green and red grapes in a bear-shaped silicone cup, an organix carrot cake flavour oat bar (hidden under the bear’s head), a banana sliced and marked with a mini bear cutter (ends dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning), and a mini chocolate bear.

He also had a raspberry flavour frozen organic yoghurt tube.  I hope Small Child enjoys this lunch ‘beary’ much!
